River is so conscientious in their approach, and you can tell they really listen to your needs and goals for treatment. I always leave feeling a body high, like I'm floating on a cloud. Highly recommend.

River graduated from the Nevada School of Massage Therapy in 2004, and spent multiple weeks studying at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur California shortly thereafter having a profound impact on her approach to Bodywork in a way that is both gently fluid and strongly effective, Connection through deep presence and awareness nurtures an integrital approach to each unique individual . Eastern practices of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shiatsu, Nuad Thai, Yoga and Buddhism have had a strong influence on her life and work bringing in the poetic medicine of nature and elemental energies. Bridging the knowledge of ancient practices with modern scientific discoveries is an ongoing inspiring approach to the work.  After returning from an immersive month long trip in Chaing Mai, Thailand in 2024,  River began focusing on Thai Massage as a prominent holistic approach to wellness that can take integrative healing to whole other level for many people.

River spends much of her time outside the office practicing yoga, hiking, being outdoors as much as possible and is constantly exploring various healing and somatic modalities.

River has a background working in massage education, medical settings as well as 5 star destination resort spas. She has been working solely in private practice since moving to Louisville in 2015.
